Mors Smitt biedt een breed scala aan spoorweghydraulische magnetische zekeringautomaten. De automaten configureerbaar om aan de individuele vereisten te voldoen.
Voordelen:
- Nauwkeurig, temperatuurstabiel mechanisme, dankzij hydraulische magnetische technologie
- Overstroomwaarnemingsmechanisme reageert alleen op stroomwisselingen
- Geen 'opwarmperiode' om de reactie op overbelasting te vertragen.
- Geen 'cooldown'-periode na overbelasting voordat deze kan worden gereset. Reductieoverwegingen als gevolg van temperatuurvariaties zijn normaal niet vereist en door warmte geïnduceerde overlast wordt vermeden
- Een gemeenschappelijke uitschakelingsverbinding tussen alle polen, een andere veiligheidsfunctie, zorgt ervoor dat een overbelasting in één pool alle aangrenzende polen zal activeren
- Een vrijloopmechanisme, een veiligheidsfunctie, maakt het onmogelijk om de contacten tijdens overstroom- of storingscondities handmatig gesloten te houden
- Standaardafmetingen, montage- en stroomwaarden bieden maximale toepassing
Veelzijdigheid:
- Groot bereik: nominale stroomsterkten tot 700 Amp en nominale spanningen tot 600 VAC en 110 VDC zijn beschikbaar
- Opties: serie-uitschakeling, midden-uitschakeling, alleen schakelaar (met of zonder hulpschakelaar), afstandsbediening shutdown-, shunt-trip- en dual-coil-circuitopties zijn beschikbaar

De Mors Smitt-stroomonderbrekers zijn ontworpen volgens de volgende spoor normen:
- IEC 60077 Elektrische uitrusting voor rollend materieel in spoorwegtoepassingen
- EN 50155 Elektronische uitrusting gebruikt op rollend materieel voor spoorwegtoepassingen
- EN 45545-2 Brandbeveiliging op spoorwegvoertuigen
- NF F16-101 / -102 Brandgedrag - rollend spoorwegmaterieel
