RECTIFIER-RESISTANCE UNIT 6Ω
The TY370/GRP41 is a rectifier/resistor unit used to rectify the supply for a lamp proving relay. An adjustable resistor is positioned in series with the load and set so that the required proportion of current is shunted to the relay via the rectifier. The resistor value (several are available) governs the sensitivity of the arrangement. Of compact modular plug-in design it has non-weld contacts and is equipped with a safety interlocking system (pin code) for insertion into mating plugboards.
